eCash express is a mobile prepaid debit card linked to a open loop mobile wallet that works on the same principals as the Starbucks cards and mobile wallet. The customer is issued a free prepaid debit card (smart card) when he/she signs up for an account and start shopping immediately .The customer can add money to card at any store. The customer builds a transaction history which ecash analyses and then matches the customer to a formal bank.
